CSE, has an immediate opening for an expert PHP programmer/engineer with experience in PHP, Perl, Interchange and Apache Server management, in the Applications Division, We are looking for the right person who is able to work as a team player, as well as handle complex projects on his or her own.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for collecting requirements, documenting functional and design specifications, planning and managing project tasks, and developing/modifying/maintaining/ software to support our site and coming features. Develop and enhance web-based software applications and maintain System architecture and application/database tuning. |
Skills / Qualifications:
You should consider yourself to be a Linux power-user that can fully utilize (but not be limited to): ssh, rsync, scp, and cron to complete tasks.
- Understanding of system architecture and speed/functionality tradeoffs
- Experience developing complex, high-traffic websites
- Solid knowledge MySQL
- Prior development of e-Commerce systems a plus
- Experience developing in a *NIX environment
- Experience managing a large code base
- Perl is a plus
- Apache, Interchange and PHP

Requirements:
- Must have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, fast learner, and work well as part of a team
- PHP and Interchange
- MySQL
- Linux experience, Apache server cron scripting/etc.
- Knowledge of front-end programming/rendering techniques including templating engines / HTML / DHTML / CSS / AJAX / JS / RSS / ATOM / XHTML

The following experience will be considered a plus:
- Experience contributing to the design/development of web application GUIs
- Experience with PC troubleshooting and with Apache Web Server and Interchange
- Experience working with high-volume, high-availability sites
- Experience developing PHP XM Apache and PHP solutions directly on Linux modules is a plus
